the board of supervisors unanimously upheld the citywide bike plan e.i.r. yesterday evening, leaving one more hurdle before fresh bike lanes can be painted all over the city. once newsom approves it, as expected, it goes back to court and hopefully the injunction will be lifted.
i don't totally understand why the rincon hill association is still trying to block it, because the planning department didn't approve the second street bike lanes they are so concerned about; they are not currently part of the bike plan the group is fighting against.
this whole thing is so stupid and silly. hopefully it will be over soon.
