oh, michelle bachmann. seriously. she is maybe one of the wonders of the world. i'm considering giving her her own tag on my blog. as the house takes up debate on the big health care bill, she's found a stunning inconsistency:

You would think that any health care bill brought forth in Congress would actually be focused on reforming health care. Alas, it seems that both House and Senate proposals are packed with pork as well . . . Essentially, we’re talking about federal funding for bike paths, lighting, jungle gyms, and even farmers markets.

yeah, what could bike infrastructure, jungle gyms and farmers markets possibly have to do with public health?

i'm not sure this really counts as pork, which is, ironically, one of the causes of our public health problems.

also she has a blog? who knew? that makes death wish three kind of obsolete.
