there are some crazy scams on craiglist. i'm always curious how they work.

This is an unusual position for some one who seeks to do something in life which is not main stream.
There is 9-14 months training period for which you must raise some of the money yourself. You can either pay $3,900 to enter the program or do volunteer work for 4-6 months in order
to enter a training program.
The training program takes place at a boarding facility in northern California and includes training in community organizer skills, management skills, fundraising skills, basic development and
non-profit skills. The period in California last either 3 or 6 months depending if you are then going to Latin America or Africa to perform your learned skills.
After 4 months in Latin America or 6 months in Africa you have a final qulification period in which you make palns for future employment with our non-profit or with other
non-profits.
During the training period you will have no expenses; you are compensated with board, lodging, training materials and travel to the destination.
During the period in Latin America or Africa you will also have free board, lodging, transportation and pocket money.
At employment in our non-profit, the compensation will be from $1,700 - $2,500 per month according to the exact position.
