seriously, the last straw of what? the president's approval ratings are still quite high. gallup says that "at all times during the last two and a half years . . . obama's favorable ratings have exceeded his unfavorable ratings by a significant amount." but in fox nation land, obama is facing an increasingly hostile populace that is one step away from armed revolution.
david letterman became a major target for conservatives last week, after a relatively tame joke about bristol palin getting knocked up somehow morphed into letterman wanting to rape children. palin made some incendiary remarks, letterman tried to explain the joke, palin made some more bizarre insinuations about letterman raping her daughter, letterman lost an advertiser and has full-on apologized. i'm sad for conservatives that they feel threatened by david letterman. anyway, fox news has a scoop! letterman and rev. wright are the same person! well not the same person, but they have something in common! what is it? did they go to the same terrorist camp? wait, no . . .wait, really? according to fox news, what they have in common is that they have both said things that got them in trouble. that's it. them, and pretty much every public figure since the dawn of time. quite an explosive story they have there.
this one is my favorite. it's sad enough they have their sights on letterman, but megan fox? the lady from transformers? last week, she said in an interview that she's against the war on drugs and hopes that marijuana is decriminalized. outrageous, right? so now fox nation is linking to a tmz article (!) about a picture where megan fox's thumbs look big. yep.
