another update on the "what would you do?" series of christian choose-your-own-adventure books. i was wrong about it being the first and last book in the series. the folks at gamebooks.org list eight titles in the series! not sure how i didn't come across this yesterday.



the other ones force you to make tough choices about predictable terrain: drug and alcohol use, peer pressure, steroids, getting good grades, et cetera. the last book, in the series, fire in the night, "uses a christian perspective to explore the issues of occultism, cults, and the new age movement." yes! i will find this book, people. i promise. in the meantime, here's another thrilling excerpt from what would you do #1: he gave her roses:
